Alert is an inline banner, not an alert dialog. It renders in the page's normal flow with
role="alert" — a live region announced to assistive tech when it appears — rather than a modal
that traps focus or blocks the rest of the page. For a "are you sure?" confirmation the user must
acknowledge before continuing, compose Modal instead (see its "confirm
dialog" demo); Alert has no dismiss-blocking or focus-trapping behavior to build one from.
role is a plain HTML attribute and can be overridden, e.g. role="status" for a less urgent,
non-interrupting announcement.
